Below is a brief description of our Smoky Mountains bike tour itinerary, including links to interactive route maps with elevation profiles. PLEASE NOTE: All of our routes can be adjusted to make them more or less challenging. With the support of our SAG vehicle, we can provide a variety of starting and finishing points on each day to provide a customized ride.

Tennessee Smoky Mtns - Friday.jpg

FRIDAY (30 miles | 4100 ft of climbing)

Ride the Foothills Parkway with its challenging climbs, fast descents and incredible views of the Smoky Mountains. (The challenge of this ride can be adjusted with the help of our SAG vehicle.) Enjoy a fantastic meal at the best restaurant on this side of the Smokies, the Appalachian Bistro.

SATURDAY (39 miles | 1900 ft of climbing)

Explore the mountains, valleys and streams around Townsend on a beautiful loop that has it all! After the ride, savor some downtime to recover from a couple of hard days of riding and enjoy being on vacation in the Smokies, whether that means soaking in your cabin’s private hot tub, taking a walk in the woods, having a beer on the back porch or heading next door to sample the wine at Cades Cove Cellars.

Tennessee Smoky Mtns - Sunday.jpg

SUNDAY (21 miles | 1500 ft of climbing)

Ride one of the most picturesque (and wildlife-friendly) loops in the Smoky Mountains: Cades Cove! Enjoy one last meal together at the Apple Valley Cafe before heading home.
