For those who arrive early and want a little more challenge, enjoy an optional afternoon ride around Boulder, including the signature climb of Flagstaff. Meet that evening with the rest of the guests for dinner and an evening of altitude adjustment and carbo-loading for the days ahead.

Ride the scenic Peak-to-Peak Hwy up to beautiful Brainard Lake with its stunning view of the Indian Peaks. Have lunch with a spectacular view high above the mountain town of Nederland. Spend the afternoon and evening taking advantage of the in-house spa at the Vail Mountain Lodge or exploring the picture-perfect streets and shops of Vail Village.

Ride from Vail to Breckenridge almost entirely on a car-free bike path. Summit 10,600-foot Vail Pass on your way to Copper Mountain and a lunch stop in Frisco. Ride the bike path all the way around the Dillon Reservoir before heading up to Breckenridge, where you’ll have plenty of time to stroll Main Street and explore this charming ski town.

Ride the highest paved road in North America as you pedal through the tundra and moonscape of Mount Evans, named by Bicycling Magazine as the best ride in Colorado and topping out at over 14,000 feet! Celebrate the climb with lunch in Idaho Springs (where the Colorado gold rush started) at Tommyknockers Brewery. Return to Boulder with plenty of time for packing, a celebratory final dinner and further exploration of all that Boulder has to offer.

Enjoy one final breakfast in Boulder before heading back home to reality.
