The perfect ride! McLemore Cove is the ideal place to take in the amazing scenery of the Chattanooga region. Throw in a climb up Lookout Mountain or stick to the valley floor - either way this ride will leave an impression. It is truly the best of the best! There's even a great farm-to-table restaurant in the cove for post-ride feasting!

Endless possibilities! Stretching for miles with an excellent network of backroads crisscrossing the farmland, Sequatchie Valley is perfect for short loops or all-day adventures. Whatever distance you want, there's a great ride to fit the bill! And if you like climbing, there are options for challenging climbs as well. Regardless of how far you go or how much you climb, you'll be treated to incredible scenery in one of the most picturesque valleys in the eastern United States!

Views, views and more views! Start at Signal Point Park with its breathtaking view of the Tennessee River Gorge, and then head over to the other side of Signal Mountain and ride along the edge of the escarpment with sweeping views as far as you can see! As a bonus, the road itself is a blast with fun curves and punchy rollers!

Rural rollers just around the corner from downtown! Looking for a short ride close to town? Lookout Valley is your answer. On this beautiful ride along the foot of Lookout Mountain, you'll be treated to gorgeous views of both the mountain and the farmland below. Plus we'll roll right past the landing zone for Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding, so keep an eye on the sky for circling gliders!

Hit the trails! Chattanooga is loaded with fast and fun mountain bike trails with a full range of options for all skill levels. Whether it's easy flow, technical turns, or daring downhill, we can hook you up with the right ride! (Need a rental bike? Suck Creek Cycle has a wide range of quality MTB rental bikes!)


A little farther afield:


Roller coaster roads with a perfect finish! Just up the road from Chattanooga on the backroads outside of Cleveland lies a hidden gem - Morris Vineyard, offering free wine tasting and gorgeous views of the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains, perfect for a post-ride picnic lunch. And while the winery certainly makes for a rewarding finish, getting there is just as fun on a short but challenging loop featuring steep climbs, beautiful farmland, curvy backroads and smooth pavement! (45 minutes from downtown Chattanooga)

A one-of-a-kind ride! Follow the Tellico River 18 miles deep into the Cherokee National Forest all the way to the North Carolina border on this beautiful and peaceful ride. The grade is gentle on the way up and fun on the way down (18 miles of downhill!). If you need more challenge, you can push your limits at the top end of the ride on a one-mile climb featuring double-digit grades! And if you're looking for calendar-worthy pictures, you'll love the 90-foot waterfall right next to the road six miles into the ride! (90 minutes from downtown Chattanooga)



A little bit of everything! Located on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (on the non-touristy, peaceful side of the Park), the roads around Townsend offer a beautiful variety of punchy climbs, hidden hollows, riverside rides and wide-open vistas. As a bonus, Townsend has excellent accommodations with private cabins and a first-class restaurant! (2 hours from downtown Chattanooga)
