The Chattanooga Challenge will have some pretty amazing views on the ride, but if you want to truly get a bird's eye view of the spectacular scenery of Lookout Valley take to the skies with Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding, offering tandem flights that allow rookies to enjoy a one-of-a-kind bucket-list experience! Promoting bicycle riding and safety in Chattanooga for over 50 years, the Chattanooga Bicycle Club offers multiple weekly ride options for cyclists of all abilities. The CBC will be manning a rest stop during the Chattanooga Challenge and will also have a table at the finish line so you can talk with them about becoming a member!
We're excited to have volunteers from our local AAA branch working two rest stops during the Chattanooga Challenge! In addition to providing you snacks & drinks to keep you going, they'll also have information available on how to save money on travel and insurance!

The majority of the Chattanooga Challenge rolls through Walker County, Georgia, because in our opinion Walker County offers some of the best cycling in the country. The full century route includes a beautiful ride through McLemore Cove, one of the most picturesque valleys in the South. If you're scouting out the route before the ride or if you visit McLemore Cove after the ride (trust us, you will want to ride it again!), stop in at the Pigeon Mountain Grill for home-cooked farm-to-table goodness!
