Often overlooked by tourists heading for Appalachia or the Rockies, Arkansas’s Ozark Mountains offer a beautiful setting for cycling without the crowds. With this Arkansas bike tour, we’ve taken the additional step of scouting out the best unpaved roads in the region to ensure that our rides will be quiet and traffic-free. By hitting the gravel and hard-pack forest roads, our guests will be treated to a view of the state rarely seen by road cyclists (but without the risk inherent in pure mountain biking).
And because this is a bike vacation as well as a cycling adventure, we’ve lined up first-class accommodations at the top-ranked bed & breakfast in downtown Fayetteville and at the amazing 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville. We’ve also included a visit to the renowned Crystal Bridges museum, as well as meals at some of the best restaurants (and breweries!) in the region. Come take the road less traveled on an Arkansas adventure that balances beautiful backroad rides in the Ozarks with pampered post-ride recovery.
DATES: June 15-19, 2017 (Thursday evening thru Monday morning) with the option of arriving early on Thursday for a short gravel ride near Fayetteville. Looking for different dates? Contact us about a custom trip!
